Founded in 2005 by Derek and Andy, DNA Flooring has been providing quality flooring solutions across Scotland for nearly two decades. The name DNA reflects the founders’ partnership and the values that define the business: skill, reliability and a personal commitment to every client.

Derek brings 42 years of experience in the flooring trade. For 15 years, he worked with leading manufacturer Forbo as a flooring instructor, training installers in the correct methods of fitting linoleum. Today, he continues to share his expertise as an instructor with FITA (Flooring Industry Training Association), covering all aspects of commercial flooring and luxury vinyl tile (LVT).

Andy’s background is equally grounded in hands-on flooring expertise, working on projects of every size and scale. Together, their knowledge and craftsmanship have built DNA Flooring’s reputation for high standards and dependable service. Over the years, they have carried out projects for clients such as Fife Council, Amey Communities, Campion Homes, Engie, Dakota Hotel and Bell Group.
